WHY ZAMBIA?
A SAFARI LIKE NO OTHER
Zambia offers an unrivaled safari experience, and is regarded as one of Africa’s last true wildernesses and this continents best kept secret. Its vast landscapes remain largely unspoiled, providing an exclusive and immersive connection with nature, unlike other safari destinations. Zambia’s remote parks promise intimate wildlife encounters, allowing you to truly feel the heartbeat of the natural world.
Beyond its breathtaking safaris, Zambia is home to the iconic Victoria Falls—Mosi-oa-Tunya, “The Smoke That Thunders.” This awe-inspiring natural wonder, paired with a variety of thrilling and serene experiences, makes Zambia a must-visit destination for both adventure seekers and those in search of tranquility.

ZAMBIA'S 3 MAIN SEASONS
RAINY
SEASON

November - April
Known as ‘The Emerald Season,’ this period transforms the landscape into a lush green haven. Bird enthusiasts will love spotting migratory species, and the vibrant scenery is perfect for photography. While wildlife viewing can be challenging due to thicker vegetation, the dramatic scenery is unforgettable.
COOL
DRY SEASON

May - August
Considered the best time for safaris, this season offers cooler temperatures and clear skies. With limited water sources, animals gather near rivers and waterholes, making for incredible wildlife sightings and superb walking safaris.
HOT
DRY SEASON

September - October
Temperatures can reach the mid-40s (°C), but it's still a fantastic time for safaris as wildlife clusters near scarce water points. While the Victoria Falls may be at its lowest flow, the exposed rock formations reveal a different but equally mesmerizing view. A sight to behold in every season - wet and dry; leaving you in awe every time.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
The ideal time to visit Zambia depends on two of its most popular activities: exceptional wildlife encounters with thrilling walking safaris, and witnessing the majesty of Victoria Falls - whether that is to watch the world’s largest waterfall in full flood or to take part in adrenaline activities such as white-water rafting.
In short, avoid the rainy season from December to April which brings moderate to high temperatures, heavy downpours, and limited accessibility, as many lodges and roads close. However, this period is excellent for birding, as migratory species are present and birdlife is at its most vibrant. The cold dry season offers attractive rates and availability, though dense vegetation may make game-viewing more challenging. For prime game viewing and top-notch safari experiences, the peak season (July - October) is unmatched, but expect premium pricing for the best conditions.
